Frequently asked
questions.
What does RPCutter do?
RPCutter analyses your GTA RP gameplay frame by frame, detects the red four-dot kill hitmarker, and automatically creates one short clip per confirmed kill.
How do I sign in?
Sign-in is exclusively via Discord. Your RPCutter account is created automatically on first login. We store your Discord ID, username and avatar.
Which files can I upload?
MP4, MOV, AVI and MKV. After processing, the uploaded source file is deleted automatically — only the generated clips are kept.
Are my clips compressed?
By default clips are compressed to under 10 MB (perfect for Discord). If you tick “Keep original clip quality” before uploading, compression is skipped and full quality is preserved.
How long are clips stored?
All clips are automatically deleted after 30 days. Every clip page shows how many days remain until deletion.
Public or private?
Each clip has a visibility setting. Private clips are visible only to you. Public clips appear in the community gallery and can be watched and liked by others.
How do likes and the leaderboard work?
You can like each public clip once. The clip with the most likes is shown as the “Featured Clip” on the homepage. Leaderboards rank players by detected kills (daily, weekly, monthly, all-time).
Is kill detection 100% accurate?
The detector is strictly calibrated to the red four-dot hitmarker and avoids duplicate or false clips. A video-only detector cannot honestly guarantee universal 100% accuracy across every server and UI layout.
